I’m leaving again this morning for a last road trip in the South with my husband before winter sets in. We’ll be rowing in Chattanooga this weekend, then visiting my mom in Spartanburg, then going on to Augusta for another rowing regatta. Although it seems like we do a lot of traveling and competition, our horizons are broader now, and we are becoming comfortable with doing much more than we imagined years ago. Today we were looking at flight schedules for visiting our daughter in New Zealand in late January. The more we do, the more we’re able to picture ourselves doing.
